Otohub announced that its entire current products line (OtoPad, OtoRemote, and OtoKiosk) has earned CE Mark certification from the British Standards Institution (BSI).
“Otohub is so proud and excited to share this big achievement: it is the first time ever that a mobile audiometer kiosk and a teleaudiology on mobile devices have been granted the CE Mark! Huge kudos to the whole team,” said Gianna Lardaro, R&D director.
Otohub’s products are said to be “clinically validated, allowing for a reliable measurement of hearing, even outside of a traditional soundbooth.” The medical mobile device reportedly addresses a growing need in the market of patients that want to test their own hearing in various locations, with more efficiency, without geographic limits, according to the company’s announcement.
